Blue and green 24 carat gold plated, sterling silver cross. Gold plating is 5 microns thick- more than double that of most gold plated jewellery. The cross is made using the hot enamel technique. Enamel has been used in church applied art since ancient times. In church worship, each color has its own origin and deep meaning. Therefore, enamel has a deeper religious dimension in addition to other aspects (images, form, symbols).

On the reverse side of the cross is the shortest and most essential Christian prayer: “Lord, have mercy.”
