It is made using premium tempera mineral paints and the image is silk screen printed onto the board. It is difficult to distinguish this icon from a hand painted one. The board has an indented border as is customary in Orthodox icons Made in Russia. All icons are blessed. As you can see in the photos, the droplets from holy water used during the blessing have left a watermark on the back of the icon.
