Handcrafted icon “Blessing of the Home” depicting the image of the Saviour Not Made by Hands, the archangels, and one of the most famous prayers of Saint Nicholas of Serbia for the home: “O God, bless those who enter this home, protect and preserve those who leave it, and grant peace to those who dwell within it!”

People pray before the icon of the “Savior Not Made by Hands” (the image of Jesus Christ Not Made by Hands) for various requests. People turn to the image with requests:

for healing from illness (in memory of the miracle involving King Abgar V of Edessa);

for protection from enemies and misfortunes; for enlightenment and strengthening of faith; for help in difficult life circumstances;

for the preservation of peace and harmony in the family and society.
