The "Kosinskaya Mother of God" refers to the Modena-Kosinskaya Icon of the Mother of God, an Orthodox icon originally from Modena, Italy, that was gifted to the village of Kosino near Moscow in 1717. The icon is famous for numerous healings, most notably during a cholera epidemic in 1848, and depicts the Theotokos (Mother of God) holding the Divine Infant.
